Civil Peocedure CPR: 4. Case Management to Trial Prep

Description: Managing the case from allocation to the doorstep of trial. We cover tracks and directions, CMCs (and listing questionnaires), costs management (budgets and assumptions), disclosure (including PD 57AD where relevant), inspection/withholding, witness statements (content, exhibits, credibility, PD32/PD57AC), expert evidence (Part 35, joint statements, questions), and pre-trial checklists.
By the end you can:

• Produce realistic directions and speak to them at a CMC.

• Prepare/criticise a Precedent H and budget discussion report.

• Design a proportionate disclosure model and handle privilege/redaction.

• Draft compliant witness statements and expert instructions; manage experts to trial.
