What this covers: Routes of appeal, permission, stays and fresh evidence; then turning a judgment into money—selecting and sequencing enforcement options.

By the end you can (for the exam):

• Identify the correct appeal route, whether permission is required, and the test for permission—and apply it to the scenario.

• State the time limit to file and when/how to seek a stay pending appeal, with the factors a judge will weigh.

• Specify when fresh evidence may be admitted and the governing criteria.

• Choose the best enforcement method (writ/warrant of control, third-party debt order, charging order, attachment of earnings, information order) and justify it by assets and speed.

• Set out the step-by-step process for the chosen enforcement and the likely order and costs.

• Produce a short appeal/enforcement plan: route, deadlines, applications needed, and outcome sought.
